Immunisation
We offer a wide range of immunisations at the practice. Most vaccinations require a minimum wait time following vaccination of 20 minutes. Childhood immunisations are booked for 30 minutes. We can vaccinate patients not registered at the practice if required.

influenza vaccinations
Flu vaccines are available during the flu vaccination season, which generally starts about 1 April each year running through until about the end of June,
Bookings can be made through reception for scheduled clinics. Doctors may also be able to give you your vaccine during your consult. Walk-in’s may be accommodated, but there may be a short wait.
Flu vaccinations are FREE for people in certain age groups or with certain health conditions.

All Maori/Pacific +55 (2024 Criteria)
Patients with eligible conditions such as:
heart conditions, respiratory conditions, auto immune, pregnancy, cancer, diabetes, renal impairment. (A nurse can advise if you are eligible for a funded vaccine).
Unfunded vaccine cost in 2024 is $39.00
covid vaccinations
Bookings can be made through reception for scheduled clinics. Walk-in’s may be accommodated, but there may be a short wait. All covid vaccines are FREE.
Flu and Covid Vaccinations can be given at the same appointment if you wish.
Pregnancy Vaccinations
Pregnant women are offered a FREE Boostrix (Whooping cough/Tetanus) and also a FREE Flu Vaccine if pregnant during the flu vaccination season.
ADULT VACCINES
Adult Tetanus Vaccination is available FREE at Age 45 and 65.
Adult Shingles Vaccination is available FREE at Age 65 (but only while you are 65).
HPV Vaccination for teenagers and young adults.
From time to time our patients may be contacted about vaccinations they may have missed in earlier years such as the MMR vaccine which vaccinates against Measles, Mumps and Ruebella.
WORKPLACE VACCINES
We can accommodate workplaces who require their workers vaccinated for HEP A and HEP B.
