'Heart Health'

The health of your heart and blood vessels is very important.  This check is a guide to the likelihood of developing 'cardiovascular' symptoms in the next 5 years.

This is a free service if you are a patient enrolled with Stoke Medical Centre and are under 65 years in the following groups:

• Maori men over the age of 35.
• Pakeha men and Maori women over the age of 45.
• Pakeha women over the age of 55.

If you are an enrolled patient at Stoke Medical Centre you can ask for a 'Heart Health' check with one of our nurses.  If you are not in a group listed above, there is a charge of $40 for the check.
